Renowned chef Cédric Vongerichten, celebrated for his culinary achievements at establishments like Wayan and Perry Street, along with his life and business partner Ochi Latjuba Vongerichten,  are the minds behinf Ma·dé restaurant. Derived from the Balinese term for “second born,” Ma·dé finds its home at 22 Spring Street in the heart of SoHo, situated conveniently next to their cherished Indonesian eatery, Wayan, symbolizing their culinary journey. Cédric’s expertise shines through a menu that artfully marries fresh seafood and vegetable-centric creations, uniting diverse global influences from Japan, France, the Americas, Indonesia, and beyond. Designed by Linda Daniels LCD, Ma·dé’s interiors evoke the breezy elegance of Bali’s coastal beach bars, boasting a playful and vibrant palette of pastel greens, pinks, and blues reminiscent of the region’s coral reefs. Much of the interior materials are thoughtfully sourced from Bali’s picturesque beaches, imparting a unique touch of authenticity to the ambience.
